Perhaps you have read about knights and how they led their lives. The knight was obliged to defend the Christian faith, women, children and the poor. He had to be brave and courteous. The epics of chivalry tell us about wars, adventures, love and magic. They also tell us something about how a knight was expected to behave. Far from all knights, though, lived up to this ideal.
