Against stomach-ache and nose-bleed

Here are some suggestions taken from an English book of recipes, "Medical Recipes of the Fifteenth Century". Try them and see if they help.

Against Stomach-ache
Grind some caraway seeds. Boil it with some good beer. Skim, and sieve through a piece of linen. Drink the liquid lukewarm. The residue should be put in a heart-shaped linen bag and placed on the stomach.

Against Nose-bleed
Rub the insides of your nostrils with the juice of a leek.

To Keep Your Teeth White
Rub teeth and gums with the roots of the mallow. Polish teeth with a piece of coarsely woven cloth.

To Keep Hands and Feet Warm
Simmer nettle-seeds in oil. Rub into hand and feet to avoid chills
